Using the Days Until Date Calculator
To use the days until now tool, just enter two inputs:
- Start Date: Enter a date where you'd like to start counting to the second date. When you load the page, it defaults to today's date.
- Date to Measure: The second date which you would like to count to from the start date.
When happy, hit 'Calculate Days Until Date'. You'll see two outputs:
- Days Between: The whole number of days between the first and second date you entered.
- Days, Years Between: The number of years between the first and second date you entered, plus the remainder days that don't divide evenly.

Dates are tricky, so I'll try to answer your questions up front.
Does the days until date calculator include leap years?
Yes! The tool will automatically factor in leap years if you set the two dates with a February 29th in between.
What happens if you open this tool at midnight?
A computer will always pick a date for you, so don't worry about the 'now' aspect of the tool. And if you stay on the page until after midnight, go ahead and move the start date manually.
