Here's a piece about asset forfeiture, that amazing extralegal process in Western countries where assets are frozen pre-trial. In response to my comment, the Supreme Court this very week gave another victory for the legitimacy of asset forfeiture... even in a case where some of those assets were earmarked to pay for lawyers (!).
