50 years18,263 days18,250 days
100 years36,525 days36,500 days

Some milestone conversions: 5 years is roughly 1,826 days (260 weeks). A decade clocks in at about 3,653 days. And a full century? That's 36,525 days - assuming you account for leap years.

Why 365.25 days per year?

A standard year has 365 days, but every four years we add a leap day (February 29th). Over a four-year cycle, that averages out to 365.25 days per year.

For short time spans, the difference is negligible. But over decades, it adds up - 100 years is 36,500 days using 365, but 36,525 days using 365.25. That's 25 extra days over a century!
