Use this sector area calculator to find the area of a pie-slice shaped section of a circle from its radius and central angle.

Sector area calculator

Using the calculator

Enter the Radius and Angle of your sector. The calculator instantly computes the sector area along with the full circle's dimensions. Switch between degrees and radians with the angle unit dropdown.

What is a sector?

A sector is the pie-slice shaped region between two radii and an arc. Think of it like a slice of pizza or a wedge of pie.

Sector area formula

The area of a sector depends on the radius and central angle:

A_{sector} = \frac{\theta}{360} \times \pi r^2

Where θ is the central angle in degrees and r is the radius.
