What is scientific notation?

a \times 10^n
Where a is the coefficient (1 ≤ a < 10) and n is the exponent (any integer).
Examples
- Speed of light: 299,792,458 m/s = 2.998 × 10⁸ m/s
- Electron mass: 0.00000000000000000000000000000091 kg = 9.1 × 10⁻³¹ kg
