Note: Especially for the 18-24 age group and the upper net worth percentiles, there is less reliable data. You need to accept some error when evaluating the table and calculator. See the net worth by age data post for more details and a count of samples per bracket.

Find the deeper writeup in the net worth average, median, and percentile by age post. Especially note the complexities around the younger age groups (especially 18-24).
Data comes from the Federal Reserve's 2025 SCF, which was released in October 2026. The Fed interviewed 4,367 families for the survey, and redacted 7 from the public set.
Note that the 18-24 group consists of a mere 82 of the 4,360 survey PEUs. That's the fewest we've ever had (111 in 2023, 199 in 2020). For that group, also note the SCF doesn't sample dorms, barracks, or other group quarters, and note that young adults who are financially dependent on their parents count as part of their parents' PEU.
